West Nile virus confirmed in mosquitos collected in Jackson County

The Jackson County Vector Control District (JCVCD) is encouraging residents to protect themselves from mosquito bites as testing confirmed West Nile virus has been detected in mosquitoes collected west of White City, on Aug. 4.
