While recent cooler temperatures have helped lower their abundance, mosquitoes are still active in Jackson County. 3 mosquito pools have tested positive for West Nile virus over the last two weeks in Phoenix and Central Point. Jackson County Vector Control District wants to once again remind citizens to check for and eliminate mosquito sources! Also remember that we are continuing to offer mosquitofish for free at our District office Mon-Thurs 8am-4pm.
