Mosquito sources come in lots of forms. Fortunately, you can eliminate many with a quick inspection of your property. Some mosquitoes thrive in the heat of summer so be sure check around your home for ANYTHING that holds water for more than a few days. If you must leave water out, particularly for pets or livestock, change it frequently! Mosquitofish are still available for free at our District office and are a great option for things like water troughs and garden ponds.
